Putting the Garden to Bed

     

    October is often the month we “put our gardens to bed.”  As the growing season comes to end, it is helpful to clean and put your garden to bed for the winter.

     

    Come learn tips and tricks for a good fall cleanup that will provide multiple benefits for gardeners & gardens:

     

    • Reducing weed populations and disease,
    • Minimizing insect pests,
    • Preventing rodent infestation,
    • Easing the workload for next year’s spring planting.

     

    October 22nd from 6 - 7:15 pm at the Coventry Public Library, Council Chambers Room, 1672 Flat River Road, Coventry.
