TEENS: Midsummer Games
Join us on Friday August 8th at 2pm or 4pm for our Dungeons & Dragons sessions with Midsummer Games, Brandon Morgan! The first session at 2pm is called "Step Right Up" which is described as the following:
"At the annual Fondant Palace Renaissance Faire, a shady carnival barker draws guests to a ramshackle Dungeon Attraction. 'Face the challenges within and claim the fabulous prize,' but is this game stacked against your favor?"
The second session at 4pm is called "I Dare You!" which is described as the following:
"The Chubbawubba Adventuring Camp has not lived up to its promises. While the owner refuses to offer any kind of refund, the bullyish camp counselors might consider paying it themselves...one on condition. Go to the abandoned cabin where 12 campers mysteriously vanished, and return with proof you were there."
No experience necessary! Dice and Pre-Generated Characters Provided! (Players may alternatively bring their own Level-1 Character using rules from the Player's Handbook). Brandon Morgan is a professional Dungeon Master with over 5 years of professional experience, and creator of all original program content. Midsummer Games has been providing Youth RPG Programs since 2019, serving Rhode Island and beyond!
Teens entering grades 6-12 can register to participate in this event from 2pm to 4pm. This is only for those entering grades 6-12 and registration is required to attend.
PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP FOR THE 2PM SESSION OR THE 4PM SESSION.
For teen programs, we ask that parents drop their teens off and pick them up after the event due to space and to create a welcoming environment for teens. Parents can wait in the library (if open), in the vestibule, or in the parking lot if they wish. Please contact the teen librarian if you have questions.
