Photo Exhibit - R.I.'s Wild Weather

Interested in learning more about our State’s history?

Visit the Coventry Public Library on Thursday, April 23rd from 4:15 - 6:15 pm to see the Rhode Island State Archives' exhibit of photos of Rhode Island's wild weather events. This exhibit tells the story of how we prepared for, reacted to, and recovered from weather-related impacts dating as far back as colonial times.

Then join us at 6:15 pm for a free program on “A Hurricane History of R.I.,” with Bob Muller, exploring weather data, reports, and personal accounts, with an emphasis on the Hurricane of 1938 and Hurricane Carol in 1954.

The Pop-Up exhibit is a drop-in program in the lobby of the Coventry Public Library / Town Hall, 1672 Flat River Road.

    One evening only!  Thursday, April 23rd from 4:15 - 6:15 p.m.
