Are you or someone you know unable to get to the library? The Coventry Public Library has a Homebound Delivery Program for Coventry residents who still live in a private home or apartment. Patrons may be permanently homebound or temporarily unable to drive or get around due to illness or injury.

A Coventry Library staff member will deliver to you once a month:
This service is completely free and no overdue charges are collected. Lost or damaged items will necessitate charges however.
All items will be checked out on the Coventry Library Homebound card and a list of items dropped to each patron will be kept on file at the library.
To get started, we’ll ask you a few questions about your interests - Your favorite authors, subjects etc. Following that we will add you into the next month’s delivery schedule. Someone will call ahead to advise you when we’ll be there. When we arrive, we ask you to have your returning items placed outside of your home and your new bag of materials will be left in its place. Due to COVID restrictions we are unable to enter your home, so please be prepared for our visit by having your items ready to go. Your bag will contain a list of the materials delivered to you as well as a slip with the next delivery date and time.
