    If you have questions about or would like to check out any of these items, visit the Circulation Desk or call (401) 822-9100 and press 1.

    All items on this list check out for 7 days, with no renewals and no holds, and a late fee of $1.00 per day, unless otherwise noted. To check out any of these items, please visit the Circulation Desk at the Coventry Public Library. All equipment must be picked up and returned inside the Library during regular hours of operation.  

    Borrowers must be 18 years of age or older with an Ocean State library card in their name and in good standing. Anyone under the age of 18 using any borrowed equipment must be supervised by an adult.

    Cake pans available to borrow at the Coventry Public LibraryCake pans: The Coventry Public Library has a collection of cake and cookie pans, generously provided by the Friends of the Coventry Library. There is no limit on the amount of molds that can be checked out. The following cake and cookie molds are available:

    Laser measure available from the Coventry Public Library's library of things Laser Measure: COMING SOON!  Includes one laser measure, carrying case, target cards, and instruction manual.  BOSCH Blaze laser  measure calculates distance, square footage, volume and indirect measurements.  This laser tape measure provides accuracy up to ±1/16 in. and measures up to 165 ft. distance.  Allows the user to add or subtract measurements.     Memory kits available from the Coventry Public Library's library of thingsMemory Kits: We offer four different kits available to borrow that can help individuals with memory loss and their caregivers:

    a. "Reminisce Kit" - puzzle box, book, DVDs, conversation cards, and word search puzzles focused on bringing back happy memories and reminiscing.

    b. "Touch Therapy Kit" - stuffed dog with dog brush, book, DVD, word search puzzles, conversation cards and puzzles to help memory through touch. 

    c. "Stress Relief Kit" - Fidget Widget toolkit, fidget blanket, book, DVDs, conversation cards, and word search puzzles to engage the mind, soothe and relieve stress.

    d. "Relaxing Activities Kit" - aqua paint farm memories, tactile match, book, DVDs, Water Wow reveal pad, jigsaw puzzle, and word search puzzles to help memory through engaging in relaxing activities.

     

     

    Metal Detector available from the Coventry Public Library's library of thingsMetal detector: Find buried treasure with our metal detector! Two available - a Bounty Hunter adult-sized metal detector and a smaller-sized Bounty Hunter Junior metal detector. Library patrons have used these to find everything from lost keys and rings to items on beaches, fields, etc.

    Any patron who borrows equipment is required to complete this Borrower’s Agreement. Equipment is loaned on a first-come first-served basis.  All equipment must be picked up and returned inside the Library during regular hours of operation.  The Library reserves the right to refuse service to any patron who abuses equipment or is late in returning it.
