Coventry Schools Summer Reading Lists

"This year, each grade is required to read one specific title. Students are required to read the novel and utilize the reading guide while they read to prepare for the activities and assignments to be completed when they return from summer vacation."
Books will be available at the library and digitally via Libby. We can always order copies from other libraries if we are out!

COVENTRY HIGH SCHOOL
All CHS students will read ONE book during the summer. Grades 9-12* will read the same text.
*Class of 2025 Seniors taking AP Literature and those taking AP Language will read alternate course-specific texts.
Scoring a 75 or better on the assessment will earn you two points on quarter one average in English

AP Literature: Interior Chinatown by Charles Yu
AP Language: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks by Rebecca Skloot
