Maple Root Cemetery Tour - RESCHEDULED FOR 10/12

Wednesday, October 12th at 3:30 p.m. at Maple Root Cemetery

Join us for a walking tour of historic Maple Root Cemetery, guided by the Pawtuxet Valley Preservation and Historical Society (PVPHS) Cemetery Group. Learn about some of the people interred at Maple Root Cemetery as well as the evolution of headstones and stone carving.

Please note: The cemetery's walking paths are uneven, earthy terrain and we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Unfortunately, because of the terrain, strollers are not advised.

The tour will meet at Maple Root Cemetery across from the Maple Root Baptist Church at 150 Harkney Hill Road in Coventry. Parking is on the shoulder of the road beside the cemetery. Please take caution, as this is a busy road.
