WRICHS Presents: Man vs Machine

Thursday, March 16th @ 6 p.m.

Join us at Coventry Public Library for this informative, FREE program! A representative from the Western RI Civic Historical Society (WRICHS) will tell us about different tasks that people used to do by hand and now do with machines. Comparing items such as scythes versus modern weedwhackers, they will ask the question, "Are the machines really better?" 

This talk will be complemented with artifacts from the Paine House collections to show the tools our ancestors used in their daily lives.
