Teen Summer Reading - Plant a Seed, Read!

Teens entering grade 6-12 can participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program for summer 2026. Registration for the overall program begins at the Summer Kickoff on June 6th from 10am -12pm. If you can’t make it that day, you can sign up anytime after the kickoff date in the library. Teens who register will receive their reading log, a beadable keychain, a sticker, and a free book while supplies last. Teens who sign up at the kickoff will be entered to win a 1 hour pass from Launch. For the program, teens set their own reading goal but it has to at least one book. As they participate in programs and weekly challenges, they are able to earn more beads for their keychains. The more beads they earn, the more entries they can get to win a grand raffle prize. When they turn in their reading logs at the end of the summer, they will get their entries for the raffle prizes, a drawstring bag, a full size candy, and 10 stickers of their choosing. This again is only for teens who are entering grades 6 through 12 in the fall of 2026. If you have any questions, please contact the teen librarian.
