Literacy Volunteers of Kent County (LVKC) is a 503(c)(3) non-profit organization that depends on donations through grants, as well as, corporate and individual donations.
LVKC is administered by a volunteer based Board of Directors whose members are assigned various tasks necessary to maintain the ongoing efforts of LVKC. The Coventry Library supplies in-kind contributions such as space, telephone, internet, copier, and staff time.
The main expenses of the literacy program are operational, training, resource materials, and public relation costs, which include printing and postage.
Donating to LVKC is quick, easy, and tax-deductible. We need your support! Any aid you can give will enable us to continue the work of building stronger communities through literacy enrichment. Please consider making a donation today.
