Finding the “me” in Memoir: how to make the personal profound
What is your story? Everyone has one. Discover how autobiographical writing can also help us process life events – from the miraculous to the mundane.
Annie Galligan, personal essayist and Goddard College MFA candidate, is holding an 8-week workshop on Memoir Writing. The series will meet Mondays 6-8 pm beginning March 27 at Town Hall Annex.
Class time will include creative journaling, reading and experimenting with various forms of creative nonfiction, and sharing our work in a safe, supportive environment. The class is open to writers of all genres and experience, and is entirely free. Bring a laptop, if you’d like, but pen and paper will certainly suffice.
